FaceBook newsletter subscription form

How to integrate UniSender with FaceBook

UniSender newsletter subscription form can be quickly added to your FaceBook fan page (see a sample on the screenhot and in our oficial page www.facebook.com/unisender).

In order to add a form, please follow a few simple steps.

1) Add Static FBML application to your FaceBook page

You may add any functionality to your FaceBook page using Static FBML. First, please install this application:

  1. In FaceBook search form enter "Static FBML" and open the application page;
  2. Add it by clicking "Add to my Page".

2) Get UniSender subscription form HTML code

In the UniSender "Client Area" you may get HTML code for the target mailing list (where you want to add new subscribers):

  1. Open "Address Book";
  2. Choose the target mailing list;
  3. There click on "Subscription form" button;
  4. Copy HTML code to Windows Clipboard.

3) Insert this HTML code into your FaceBook page

Insert this HTML code into FBML application:
  1. On your Page click "Edit page";
  2. Find application "FBML" and click "Edit";
  3. Insert the HTML code (from step 2). Set the box name in the "Box title".

4) Choose where the form should be located

The form can be located in the left column, in "Boxes" section and in the tabs of the Page. To change the appearance click "Application settings" in FBML settings and choose where it should be located.

To move the form into the left column, open the "Boxes" section, click on the small pencil icon and choose the option to move theis block to the left side.
